January 2011 LSAT Minnesota Retake - Experimentals?
Just took the January 2011 LSAT retake and i'm wondering which one of the three LRs that I had was experimental. The LR sections contained the following questions
Section 1 - Birds in Siberia (possibly a question about Soup too)
Section 2 - Octopus with red ball and lowering minimum wages
Section 3 - Big Bang Theory
I'm pretty sure the last one was real because it was after the break but I really want to know about the first two. If anyone has any information that would be great. Pray to God it was the Birds section because Section 2 wrecked me.
For people with other experiementals my LG and RC contained:
LG: Different classes on different floors, and Indian Reservation for RC.
Thanks!

Octopus and Big Bang Theory were real.
Did you have an LG section with one game about a zookeeper and seven animals, including a yak, a zebra, and a walrus, I think and then another game that had novelists assigned to one or more groups?

Another confirmation for Octopus and Big Bang. Hot Shot, do you remember the content of any of your other games? I had an experimental AR in section 1 or 3...
Did anyone have a game about five employees - N, Q, R, T, and V - assigned to F, G, or H?

I had 3 LR sections.
Can confirm the one with the employees was the real game.
I thought the last game was a little tough.
Anyone else think RC was difficult? I thought the third passage was much harder than the rest, though. (Political party comparison passage).
Games - Easy
LR - Normal (Octopus question was a little tough)
RC - Slightly Hard
My room had a lot of no shows, about 1/3-1/4 of the seats were empty if that means anything in establishing the curve.
Writing - Choosing jobs (irrelevant, though)

I thought the games were experimental at first because I found them unbelievably easy. RC went a little better than normal for me although I agree the Comparative passage was difficult and the length of the Indian passage/questions forced me into guessing on two questions. My experimental LR was a complete joke (great...) and I found the other two to be challenging, especially the octopus one. The last LR was tough but not a total disaster.

I just took it this afternoon, and I believe my experimental was in reading comprehension ... oh thank the lord!

Yeah, that freakin' Indian one was ridiculousHotShot23 wrote:I thought the games were experimental at first because I found them unbelievably easy. My thought pattern "oh, okay, I pretty much get this.....hmmm...that's not even close to any of these choices...."

Speaking of the Minnesota retake - does anyone know when the scores will be released? Will the 3 week wait still hold seeing as most test takers were on the December time-line or will the scores be out sooner due to the low volume? Thanks.

It looks like last February people waited only 6-8 days to get their makeup scores.

I called LSAC and they told me it would be released around the same day, maybe only a couple days later
