LSAT Score Disclosure

Post by boris0110 » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:18 pm

I was just curious when schools see your LSAT score do they get a breakdown of how you did on each section or do they simply see a raw overall score.

they see the score, and the score band ( which is 3 points higher and lower than your actual score- to help them see how you would do if hte test had a lenient and more strict curve)

Or is the six point score band the likely score range between a good & bad testing day for that particular applicant ?

They simply see the score/score band. Someone previously posted on TLS that schools can in fact request a breakdown of how you did if they desire. I honestly doubt they care enough to request a breakdown though.

Score report shows your raw score as well as your responses to each question compared to credited response. You have to go through and "add up" your score by section manually though to see how you did - they don't total them for you.

What? That was not OP's question. OP asked if schools can see the breakdown.

No they can't see the breakdown. They see the score, score-band and percentile.
