Re: scores in!
FYI:
"In the near future, you will get your LSAT score. If you appear to be the first person on TLS to receive your LSAT, please follow the procedure detailed below to announce that scores are being released. If you are clearly not the first person, confirm that scores have indeed been released (and confirm the curve) by posting on an existing score release thread.
Warning: If you post a fake score release, you will be banned. You will also be banned if you bump a score release thread from a previous LSAT administration.
1. First, start a new thread with a title like: Dec. 2010 LSAT scores released! You may also want to post to the The Official Waiting Thread for December 2010 Scores.
2. In the thread, include at least three things:
-a screenshot of your LSAT score email from the LSAC
-a screenshot of your LSAC account page showing your LSAT score and the PDF links to exam documents
-a screenshot of the Dec. 2010 LSAT score conversion table
3. In order to capture a screenshot, click the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard (for Windows), and then paste (Ctrl-V for Windows) the image into a program like Microsoft Paint or GIMP. On a Mac, take a screenshot of a specific window/object by using Cmd-Shift-4, then press Spacebar, then click on the window/object. This will save it as a PNG file to your desktop. Convert it to jpg or other more common format. Edit/Blur out personal information (your LSAC account number and your name/email if you don't want to share it) with your image editing program, but make sure you keep your score and percentile. Special thanks to existenz for the Mac instructions.
4. Upload the photos to an online photo gallery. You can upload images to ImageShack without needing an account. Make sure you get the URLs of your uploaded screenshots and insert them into your thread.
5. Somewhere in the thread, mention what the curve is (i.e. maximum wrong responses that is still results in a 170).
6. [Optional. ] Visit Law School Predictor and plug in your shiny new LSAT score to see what your chances are at getting into particular law schools."
