Yup, some people cold tested in the 120s/130s in my prep course. But once you get the hang of the test this is almost impossible to score. Most people will hit the 150s.

A buddy of my college roommate got a 125. Definitly the lowest I've heard of

All you've gotta do is not mark anything and freak so hard you forget to cancel. I can totally see that happening to people who take it cold on no sleep.
A better question might be: What's the lowest score that somebody's matriculated on (without retaking)?

Yeah its true, you would have to be very unlucky to get less than 20% correct. That will give you the 125, the guy must have guessed on nearly every question and been severely out of it for the test, only way. A 150 is only 53 correct, so this should be about the bottom you could get on a decent night of sleep and a fair effort, even without knowing what is on the test.

I have worked for three years to break the 140 mark. Im 38 and work as a runner for a law firm in Southern Maryland. My 5 tests have been 128,129,131,138, and 130 respectively. Despite graduating college I just can't figure out the test
. I have spent over two grand taking classes and tutoring and it just doesnt work. I have scored as high as 146 on my practices exams, which is great! But it just doesnt flow on the actual test.

According to LSP, you've got a decent shot at Boalt with a 125 LSAT and a 5.5 GPA (out of 4.0)joebloe wrote:All you've gotta do is not mark anything and freak so hard you forget to cancel. I can totally see that happening to people who take it cold on no sleep.

Using the quintessential example of TTTT, Cooley has a minimum requirement of 143 for unrestricted FT admission.

I knew someone who was pretty smart - did well in high school, took a prep class - but ended up in the 140's. I think a combination of not being prepared + bad luck = below 150's.

At some point shouldn't you either decide not go to law school or enroll at People's College of Law already?140orBust wrote:I have worked for three years to break the 140 mark. out of curiosity I did a little looking on LSN and found a URM with a 137 that was in at an ABA accredited school last cycle.
They seemed very pleased so kudos to them.

my dad got a 137. what was worse was that he took it with me and sat a few seats a away. he kept clearing his throat in his little weird way and trying to talk to me in between sections. seriously it was the biggest mind fuck of my life.

Re: Lowest LSAT score you have ever seen/ heard about
I went and visited Peoples College of Law but during my interview I heard the secretary make a joke about what I was wearing (it was a Hawaiian Shirt) big deal I thought that was the style in California. Anyway after she made a remark I stopped the interview and kicked her desk in with my foot. They banned me from the campus and threatened to get a restraining order against me. Besides I would really like to get into an aba accredited school like UVA- close to home.

Re: Lowest LSAT score you have ever seen/ heard about
All you have to do is search the Internet. When I was looking for resources about law school and just looking up ways to get my LSAT score up, I stumbled upon the antithesis of the TLS Forums. If you think that everyone on here is completely unrealistic in their expectations of what everyone can achieve on the LSAT if they put in the effort, well there's definitely another side to it. There are so many people out there who are struggling to get into the 140's or 150's. They even stop to wonder if they should re-take a score of 141. They want to get into any law school that will accept them, and not enough people are telling them that their expectations are beyond unrealistic and that they should choose a different path. I guess so many people these days still think that a law degree equals a steady and prosperous future.
It makes sense. If 151 is the median, then half of test-takers are absolutely bombing. Luckily, I think most of them realize that law school is not for them. So yea, I've seen 131, 133, 138, etc.
