ITT: HARDEST QUESTIONS -- Dec. LSAT 2010
Mods -- feel free to lock if this violates. I remember there being a thread for October on Hardest questions. It got locked because people went into specifics. Let's not do that.
ITT -- just a list of the questions that made you T_T summarized in one or two words, with no mention of QUESTION TYPE, ANSWER CHOICES, or other details about the stimulus ("The flaw was..." "Was this a resolve question?" "No it was Strengthen EXCEPT").
I'll list some that thought were kind of tricky:
RC
Dental caries
LG
stained glass
conferences
LR
Aliens
Space-travel risk
Raspberry nursery
majority shareholders
tuition increase
beta carotene
sunscreen and skin cancer
slip disks and back pain
This is NOT an opportunity to solicit people via PM or CHAT regarding answers/discussion to these questions!

RC: The literature passage.
LG: I'm not sure, but I ran out of time.
LR: It all seemed pretty straightforward.

That was a weird one, and I wasn't sure about the answer, but I felt confident about my guess once I narrowed it down. But then again I've watched a lot of Nova.brobrah wrote:Something about stars and their brightness and age

Agree with your LG and RC choices. Also with the tuition increase and beta carotene LR questions.

definitely the aliens one on LR. LG conferences was rough, stained glass was iffy, 1+4 were fine.

Re: ITT: HARDEST QUESTIONS -- Dec. LSAT 2010
This is strange, but I feel like I did extremely well on the logic games today.. Like I finished all 4 games with 2 minutes to spare. I ordered them in difficulty, and the stained glasses came last. But I think I got at most 1 question wrong from each game.
I actually found the LR section with the sunscreen, goldfish, rapper, rasberry farm questions to be extremely difficult.. even unprecedented difficulty. I had not seen questions that tricky in my prep test.
background- I got a 165 on the october LSAT

Thought the dental caries wasn't too bad, same with tuition increase.
But I agree on the LGs.

I really hated this LSAT (and I love LSATs). Dental caries and brutal LG made it far less enjoyable than any PT ever.
Ever! EVER.

Re: ITT: HARDEST QUESTIONS -- Dec. LSAT 2010
I don't even know which of my RC was experimental, but like most people I found the dental carries and domestic literature readings the toughest.
LR is my strong suit, but now that you bring it up I do remember going through a lot of doubt over the national parks question, though I think I remember figuring it out, it's a blur. I actually enjoyed the reasoning of the stars section.
For LG, the only one I found easy was game four. Game one wasn't that bad, but the lack of space messed with me. And, yeah, I had a monumental collapse with stained glass and conferences. I think I managed to work through all of three questions on stained glass and two on conferences. I couldn't even figure out a way to adequately diagram conferences. I missed one easy-but-important deduction in stained glass that would have probably changed the outlook of the entire section for me.

Re: ITT: HARDEST QUESTIONS -- Dec. LSAT 2010
Hijacking this for a moment, since I took the Asia LSAT.
LR - seems pretty straightforward
RC - forgeries comparative passage
LG - workers and assignments game
From the sound of things, I'm glad I took it in Asia. Sorry guys.

Re: ITT: HARDEST QUESTIONS -- Dec. LSAT 2010
When you guys say "Aliens" are you talking about the space ship/communicate question?
and for me...
just the conferences game was hard. I finished everything else. The RC was challenging, but not bad.
I tried to figure out conferences... but I couldnt get it. I didnt understand the game mechanism.. who goes first ect. Did'nt get it at all. Dissappointing! I think I got at most 4 wrong in that game. Normally I miss 2 in an entire section...
who knows. If we get a -13 curve, I hope I got a 167 at least.

I thought slip disks and back pain, sunscreen and skin cancer, tuition increase(easy) were not too bad.
I can't remember beta carotene clearly but i think i figured it out; same for Space travel risk
I draw a blank about Majority shareholders
Raspberry nursery and aliens were the hardest for me( and i guessed on an MBT principle except for lack of time)
RC:
Dental Caries was the hardest( at first I tought they mean dental carries). The passages were fine but the questions were so tough for this one. Everything else was easy
LG
Conference????I couldn't even figure out the first answer(list question)

Re: ITT: HARDEST QUESTIONS -- Dec. LSAT 2010
RC - Dental Caries was definitely tough. I spent A LOT of time on it, but fortunately I went to it first. RC was my first section, and I always go 4th passage, 3rd, 2nd, 1st in order. So I only had 5 minutes for the last passage, but felt pretty good overall.
Stained Glass and Conferences killed me. Probably guessed on 1/2 of conferences and 2 Stained Glass questions.
Worst part of the day: had to immediately go sing in a choral concert after the test. The church we were singing in had stained glass windows everywhere...It was like LSAC wanted to taunt me.

Re: ITT: HARDEST QUESTIONS -- Dec. LSAT 2010
The hardest LR question to me was the one about allergies. I must have missed something on that one because I haven't seen anyone mention that on here.
