Writing Sample Slip-up?

Post by Plato's Thoughts » Sat Dec 11, 2010 9:02 pm

I blanked or rather goofed on the writing sample. I started arguing for a position that I later realized was extremely weak and didn't make much sense and wanted to change, but it was too late. Since were not supposed to erase, I kept going down a slippery slope and ended with two paragraphs of crap. I do think I got an okay score overall, taking into account the curve we should get. How bad could my essay affect my applications?

Not at all. Both sides were justifiable anyway, there was no one right answer and as long as you made some sense it shouldn't matter.
