December LSAT Results
I remember when i took the LSAT in October there was statistical evidence of the Friday before the release date is when scores came out (as rang true for this year as well). Does anyone know anything about December? Does the January release date hold true because of the holidays? Any insight would be fantastic! Best of luck to everyone taking it, let's all hope for 170+!

Best of luck to you!
Unfortunately, there's a lot of variation. Here's what's happened in recent years:

Re: December LSAT Results
Well, in the past it's always been out before New Year according to that chart. So I'm guessing Friday December 31. Anyone disagree?
Why can't they switch to a computer adaptive test like everyone else? GMAT, MCAT, even the freakin' TOEFL, which is administered in dozens of third world countries? This wait is so unnecessary.
"Switching to a computer adaptive test would help LSAC save time, trees, and money, and testers could see their scores instantly. LSAC could also increase the number of administrations without lowering the price, thus increasing their own profits."
Which of the following most weakens the argument?
A. The legal profession is old fashioned
B. LSAC people don't know how to use computers
C. Most future law students are liberal arts majors who don't know how to use computers
D. LSAC would have to revamp the Analytical Reasoning section, risking the possibility of more minorities and women earning high scores
E. Most LSAC employees belong to a union which fears that switching to a computer-based test might lead to job cuts

I could have SWORN I saw January 7th as the "score release date" in my LSAC but that didn't make any sense to me since they never know.

I know we'll get it before Jan 10, but I'm pretty sure it'll be after New Years (which blows). They haven't given it this late in recent history... Hopefully we will get it beforehand. If it's 12 days early that could do it (like 2006, 2007, 2004)

It ain't coming out on a holiday, so forget the 31st or 1st. My guess is by the 30th (11 day diff) or the 3rd (7 day diff) at the latest.

My money is on the 3rd. Dec. 30th would be nice, but I doubt that is going to happen.

I agree that it will be the 3rd.
And screw taking it on a computer, have you tried doing RC sections on the computer? LG is a pain in the ass to diagram on paper and read off of a PC too. My score would drop at least 2 points. I'd much rather wait 3 weeks and do better.

eh, for some reason I think we'll get a late Christmas gift (or Hannukah gift) and get it the 29th or 30th. I think they will try and get it out before the new year.

I think this year's release date will be tricky to predict, because the test date is 5-10 days later than any of the December dates of the past 6 years, and we start running into the New Year holiday. But if you go by the 18-23 day range, the predicted release date should be anywhere from 12/29 to 1/3. To my knowledge, scores have never been released on a Sunday or LSAC holiday (though it has happened on Saturday), so that eliminates 1/2 and 1/3. I'm also inclined to guess against 12/31 and 1/1 due to New Year's, and the 18-day wait has happened only once in the past 6 years, so my best guess would be Thu 12/30.
