There's definitely a variable of luck on every LSAT. It could depend on your mood, the exam layout, distractions, or just marking the right answer when you've narrowed it down to two. Good luck, hope you reach your goals!

Thanks as you can see my avg was right around 167-169. I'm hoping to break into the 170s. I've taken about two months off, but I'm starting to study again. Any thoughts on if I can break 170?bartleby wrote:There's definitely a variable of luck on every LSAT. if your average is 167-169 you should score within that range. Just by simple math, the 6 extra questions you missed from your average should amouint to about +3 points on your score. That means if youi performed to your avearge, you should have earned a 168. While there is still a lot of time to increase your score before february, you need to realize that right now you are a 168 LSAT taker. Some people can score a 170+, but many people cant. If you cant increase your score by february, then I would say that you have maxed out on this test.
Remember, a 165 + is better than 90% of all test takers within the last 3 years. Its nothing to be ashamed of.

That's true, but I think my max out is about 172. I scored that multiple times and I feel like that's probably around the best I could do. The best score I ever got was 175, but I was in the zone that day.northwood wrote:if your average is 167-169 you should score within that range.
