Retake or Apply?
Hey guys, need some quick advice...
Right now, my LSAT score and GPA are sitting just below the median at my target school (LSAT is one point below) and i have been having a hard time deciding whether to just send my apps in ASAP (realistically, around Dec. 15 because i'm waiting on a letter of rec) or retake in December (for a third time) hoping to increase my score. I'm just afraid any additional delay will adversely impact my chances of admission. Any advice appreciated. Not looking to wait until next fall.

Apply now and retake. Notify the schools that you are retaking. Getting that LSAT to/above median will make a huge difference.

think i should take my chances in december or retake in february, when i have more time to brush the dust off the LSAT skills? If i apply now and inform that that i plan a retake will it delay my application or will my previous scores still be considered?Ragged wrote:Apply now and retake. If you're below both medians, even if it's only by a very small amount, definitely retake.

Re: Retake or Apply?
I signed up for a December retake two weeks ago without looking at material for over a year. I was back to scoring in the same range as when I had stopped studying in about 5 days. It didn't take long at all, logic games took the most time to relearn. Logical reasoning and reading comp came back to me immediately. If you decide to retake however, be advised that TODAY is the deadline for late registration for the December exam.
