Worth the risk?
2.67 gpa (yes i know)
159 june lsat (was PTing in the 156 - 162 range)
160 October (from june until october PTing in the 161 - 169 range)
Schools I am applying to I am mostly above their 75% for the LSAT, but I do not know if that will be enough to compensate for my low gpa.
If i retake in December what score will make the risk of the class filling up worth it?

Here's the thing. If you retake and do poorly in December, you will have taken the test 3 times in 2 years. Even if you go through the hurdles and get a school to support you for a 4th attempt, 3 bad scores will not bode well. That said, I still reccomend you retake in December if you're SET on going next year, but take a ton of practice tests, with 5 sections. The fact that you are scoring so wildly (160-169 is a HUGE range) means you are not focused enough for the test. Get in the groove of taking the test consistently, and soon enough you should see a level average. If you can't dedicate the time to improve before December (ie 10-15 preptests at least), then don't take it in December and wait until next June and apply next cycle... With that GPA and a 159 LSAT you are not bound to greatness.

Re: Worth the risk?
Retake, but only if you are absolutely ready for December. For sub-3.0 applicants like ourselves, a killer LSAT score is essential. At this point there isnt much we can do about out GPAs, but we CAN try to prove ourselves on the LSAT. You're going to have the give these schools a little more to look at than a 160.
If you dont think you can beast it out in December, I suggest waiting for next cycle. 159/160/162 is not going to cut it with that GPA.

I believe +/- 3 points is statistically irrelevant as far as the LSAT goes. So 3 scores in the same range will be viewed from that vantage (so getting a 160 means you're in the 157-163 range, it just depends on the day of the test, etc). You should get 3 points over your highest score to make a decent impact. Every little bit helps, of course

I think Emory's Wall of Death demonstrates the value of just 1 point.

Edit: Poke around LSN a bit. A lot of schools have this kind of cutoff below which you have little to no chance. If you think 1 point does not matter, believe me, it matters to admissions offices that have to sort through thousands of applications every year.
