What was your breakdown?
I had...
LR1: -7 (WTF?!?!?!?)
RC: -1 (easiest RC section in a longgg time)
LR2: -4 (meh)
LG: -7 (saw this coming..had to guess on a bunch)
Looking back, that LR1 killed me. And I usually am a -0/-1 LG guy so that was a dagger as well. Now I am debating a retake or if I should take my chances with a 165 at my target schools.
What about the rest of you? How'd it all shakedown?

Re: What was your breakdown?
Here is my breakdown
LR-1 wrong
RC-3 wrong (need to work on that...)
LR-1 wrong
Games-8 wrong...
I swear, games are usually my best section, but I always do poorly on my 5th section. I don't know anyone else who has such a big problem with burnout, any tips? Ugh I feel lame...I'm really only unhappy w/ my score because I know that its mostly burning out that is my biggest problem. My LSAT tutor couldn't really understand it either. I'm not sure what to do tell myself, what to do...

I knew I bombed the first LR. Ran out of time + panicked had to blind guess at least 5 and rush through 2 more.

Re: What was your breakdown?
RC: -3, LR1: -4, LR2- -3, LG: -2
Both LR sections reflect how I was doing leading up to the exam. I'm kind of disappointed with my RC/LG turnout which i was getting -0/-1s on leading up to the test date. I think my maiden-LSAT jitters got the most of me. I actually thought during the whole exam that I had bombed my first section (RC), and this probably affected my pacing/thinking process.

Lucked out at the end of LG with two guesses that worked out. For whatever reason, the end of the second LR beat me up, with all three wrong answers coming on the last four questions.

Re: What was your breakdown?
RC -4. This was an easy RC. Still can't beleive I got #6 because like a lot of people, I thought this question sucked with the other tempting choice. Missed #19, #22, #24, and #27 (last passage probably due to time pressure, but it's at my average.
LG -6. I got exactly what I had expected. I knew I aced the first two games and had three right each on the last two...and not another correct answer. These games were more time consuming and people calling them "easy", well that's true if you take about 40 minutes to do them. Missed #15, #16, #17, #19, #20, and #21 which are all the ones I had left in panic mode, surprise, surprise.
LR1 -7. Off my average. Missed #4, #11, #14, #19, #20, #21, and #23. Sucked
LR2 -5. Made up for crappy LR1. Missed #8, #19, #24, #25, #26 (the last two left blank, apparetally I read but did not answer the Rule of Law Question).
Crap, timing was a major issue. But when you're coming from 149, I guess I can't be too upset. I'm in above the median at the schools I was looking at. This still rocks!

an easy RC was wasted for me :-/
I had to piss which progressively got worse, even painful by the time I reached the 3rd section (RC), which is made even worse when im strong in RC
-4 LR1
-11 RC
-12 LR2
-3 LG

Petty happy with LR. LG is crummy but I was never good at it. RC just destroyed me. I was averaging about -5 to -7 on PTs, so I choked on test day. It's very disappointing to see a section that's supposed to be one of my strengths kill my score like that.

Re: What was your breakdown?
Missed 4 on LR 1 -- it was my first section and I was thrown off my its unusualness
MIssed 4 on RC -- ALL on transnationalism only. (usual # missed)
Lr2 -- much better, my usual -2
So far I would have a -10 = 172 which would be my PT avg
Games - used to be my best section, sept 09 missed 1.
MISSED 5 - THE WHOLE LAST GAME (RAN OUT OF TIME) DIDN'T REALIZE THAT I MESSED UP #18 THE LIST QUESTION SO I DIDN'T RE-CHECK THE RULES.
I haven't missed 15 on a test since I don't know when.....
At least I was right abou the -12 curve. But it didn't help me get a 169/170 like i thought it would.

LR 1 -8
RC -8 ( very happy with this.. half of my mistakes were on the 4th passage, which i didnt get a chance to complete, and this was the second RC section in a row)
LR2 -7
LG-6
overall: very soild test. most of my pts had a section that I dominated ( -4 or better) and a section that i absolutely bombed ( -10 or worse) Cant complain, and will celebrate being consistent tonite, finish my applications, and then see about the december test ( and how it will impact my cycle)

Re: What was your breakdown?
LR 1 = -4, actually felt worse about this LR than the other
RC = -10. -5 through the first 3 passages and missed 5 of the last 6 on the transnationalism passage
LR 2 = -6. Definately got some wrong that I did/didn't expect. Brick houses Q26 parallel reasoning etc.
LG = -5. I was more shocked at this than RC, after seeing I got only 1 wrong on the first game I thought I bombed, I figured I got -1 on LG, got 4 wrong 2 on the tracks game and 2 on the nurses game
After long deliberation, a 160 in june and a 161 in october and practicing consistently 168, I will be taking one last time in December.
Any tips on improving RC? I'm going to try Atlas RC someone on the forum said it was the best.

RC was way off for me, I'm usually -1, -2 MAX. Thought I absolutely bombed it walking out of the test and nearly cancelled.
Really had to pee at the end of the test, time pressure meant two guesses at the end of LR2, alas two more than I probably should have gotten wrong.
Overall really happy, LG was giving me a ton of trouble but it just started to click the week or two before the test.

Re: What was your breakdown?
Glad to see I'm not the only one who was having some issues with the RC. I completely reversed my pattern from PTs - bad RC/LG and great LR on the actual test.

RC: -3 (Turns out my friend's honors thesis presentation that I attended was on the subject of the forgery passage. Awesome-sauce!)
LR2: -0
LG: -2? (Tip: don't confuse your local hypos...guessing this is where I went wrong)
Most were face-palm stupid mistakes, but I can't be disappointed with 3/4pts better than average pt!

Re: What was your breakdown?
Sounds a lot like what I did. Hopefully on the retake, I have a RC more indicative of what I get in practice. It's a shame because I wasted a really good (at least by my standards) LR.ccoons24 wrote:Glad to see I'm not the only one who was having some issues with the RC.
