Oct 9th test - LR1 harder than usual?

Post by sanetruth » Sat Oct 30, 2010 11:08 am

I got a lower score on the first section of logical reasoning on the October test than I ever have before, including my first ever test. I got -10 (!!!!?!?!?!?!) on the first logical reasoning, and -1 for the second. Soooo, was that first section really that much harder? Or did I just have a brain fart/meltdown.

(Side note: one of my 'calm down on test day' mantras was 'you can still bomb a section an do ok'. guess not! -1 on LR2, -1 on games....this -10 FUCKED me.)

I had one too, for games! I suck at the 5th section. Sometimes I do worse on LR1 than LR2 cause I need to get into test mode.

Was the order switched for some?

I am wondering if it was that hard or if it took that long for us to all warm up.

I'm happy to say that I didn't miss a single one of the harder LR questions that were discussed here. However, I left one blank, and missed another one that I totally forgot about. :|

-6/-3. Funny how after the exam many people were saying the second LR was harder.

Does anyone remember which LR section had the questions TLSers debated about?

I thought so at the time, but my score turned out to be pretty average for me. -2 on the first section, -3 on the second, and I think the extra -1 on the last section was because it was the last section for me, my brain was like OMGWTFWE'RESTILLDOINGTHISGOAWAY.

unless my sections were reversed the second was a lot harder for me. LR1 (25Qs) -3 and LR2 (26Qs) -9

The second one.

I believe it was an AAAA vs. AACAA debate. AACAA won.

-5/-2

I havent had worse than a -3 since frickin July. EPIC LSAT fail. So I'll be one of those sad souls retaking in December.

-8/-2

This is a joke, this is seriously a joke.

Seriously though, the first section was a combination of freak out/having to use the bathroom during the section/brain melt during the first 5 questions.

Ah well, retake during December. I now know what to expect for the test.

My first one was much harder, but I think my performance had a lot to do with nerves too. For LR I went -5 and -0

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
