How to work on endurance? I burn out!
OK I am looking at my PDFs
Here is my breakdown
LR-1 wrong
RC-3 wrong (need to work on that...)
LR-1 wrong
Games-8 wrong...
I swear, games are usually my best section, but I always do poorly on my 5th section. I don't know anyone else who has such a big problem with burnout, any tips? Ugh I feel lame...I'm really only unhappy w/ my score because I know that its mostly burning out that is my biggest problem. My LSAT tutor couldn't really understand it either. I'm not sure what to do tell myself, what to do...

Games are the easiest to improve on, so you've got the makings of a really good score. Those are great raw scores for LR and RC.
- lots of practice
- lots of sleep
- 5-Hour Energy Extra Strength
YMMV. But I'd strongly recommend giving 5-Hour Energy a try...that stuff really helped me.

Practice with strictly timed 5section tests in the AM.
I had an endurance problem too but doing this plus taking a vitamin (over the course of a month) helped me.
(maybe that part is placeobo but I never got tired during PTs in all of Sept)

A suggestion for sleep the night (or couple of nights) before: if you take a hot bath and then go to bed you will pass out.
Sounds silly but it worked. I did this and was well-rested and beat my PT average to get 177.

Also, this sounds obvious, but you NEED to eat in the break. If you don't, it is a near-guarantee that you will burn out. Ask around to see what other people eat and try to get something with complex carbohydrates so your blood sugar will be fairly constant over the remaining two sections. Personally I like to eat bananas during my break; other people enjoy protein bars; find what works for you. This is a huge part of test performance and if you haven't been paying attention to it, start paying attention now. Few things are more distracting than hunger.

I think there was an LR question stem on one of the recent PTs that contained this info! Too bad I didn't follow it myself...mtrl wrote:A suggestion for sleep the night (or couple of nights) before: if you take a hot bath and then go to bed you will pass out.

Become an engineer and take the 8-hour Fundamentals of Engineering exam!
Honestly, a 3-hour test is not that bad to me. I get a little bored during RC, but thankfully it wasn't last.

Take preptests in the morning and do all four sections in a row.
