Did anyone meet their expectations on the October LSAT?

Post by niederbomb » Sat Oct 30, 2010 12:26 am

I haven't gotten my score yet and probably won't 'till Monday because I took it October 10, but it seems like a lot of people seriously underperformed - or is this normal?

Hmm... maybe people underperformed because of the curve?
I just wish those little grey icons would appear so I could see what the curve was.

I'm happy with my score. I guess you could say it met my expectations.

Got 172, I think in the prediction thread I said 170... +2, maybe +1. Average PT was a 174 and scored like 6 179/180's but I'll take it!!

I got on the high range of my optimistic expectations. Most of my PTs were 171, a few 173's, one 175. After these weeks of second guessing and doubt I was expecting a 168 or lower. I got a 173 :)

After PTing in the mid 160's I scored a 162 in June. This time I was PTing in the high 160's and was expecting another low 160's performance after walking out of this test, but scored a 165.

i was scoring 160s on my practice tests, never scored higher than 170, and somehow got a 171 on the actual thing. i must have guessed several right because i ran out of time on RC and one LR section. can't wait to see the response report

I am a bit disappointed. Although 175 or higher was originally my stated goal, I thought that I had a good chance to land closer to 180.

I met mine exactly. Also for records I got mine at 1:15AM EST. I had hoped I might have done a little better based on feeling after the test but for the last couple of months I've expected exactly the score I got, even though this was my first time taking it.

my overall PT average was 165/166. I averaged 167 last 4 or 5 PTs going into the test. I got a 164. While its within my pt average I dont know how I missed this many because I felt so good about RC and LR. I must have bombed LG.

Got my PT average (which is good considering test day nerves).

Scored a 175, which was about a point above my PT average. Pretty happy!

I got in the upper range of my pt average= 175 :). In disbelief right now. I was seriously telling myself that I'd accept a 165.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
