Just got my October score. 165 from 159 last December.
I was PTing mid-high 170s in the run-up to the exam.
I knew this was coming; I was a wreck after the test. I just knew it didn't go how I planned. I wanted to believe it would be different.
This has been a year-long nightmare.
I have a 3.98 GPA from a state school and five years work experience in a securities law practice (from a secretary to operations manager), but my goal-- H or Y-- is totally out of reach, once and for all, isn't it?
What a waste. I think I should just give up.

Its not if you are willing to go to a lower ranked school (still a good one) or take the test again. But if your world is over if you do not get into a T-6, that is a diff story.

I'm pretty gutted. I feel like an absolute failure (it's funny how this whole process does that to you; this is at least the fourth time in twelve months I've felt this way as a direct result of this frigging test). No idea. I know I botched LG, inexplicably (I was -0ing them consistently in probably over 10 PTs). It's not the first time this happened. The 159 happened after averaging 170s in PT. I suck at this test? God hates me? Dunno.Desert Fox wrote:What the fuck happened to drop you 10 points?
Funniest part: 165 was my cold diagnostic score, about a year and a half ago.

Test day nerves are the worst -- I know that's what got me the first time. If you know you can rock the test that bad then I would give it another swing
