That was what I got originally. As long as you figure out what went wrong, and can improve on that I'm sure you can do better.

Lower than my cold diagnostic.

A huge fail on this end.

+1. I got 156 on retake, up from 148. Sure, 156 is still shitty but I really did not have a lot of time to devote to LSAT prep.

Point being that you can go up. I'm done with it (b/c I can't go through it a third time) but you guys can do it.

Best of luck!!!!

After a PS course, a private tutor, months of regular study and a consistent upward trend in my pt's I ended up w/ a +1 from my June score. Baffled and crushed.

This time was a retake and I scored a 160, the same as before. My PT average was 172, and I left feeling confident that I had improved to at least a 165. I was dreaming of George Washington or Georgetown. Now, I don't even know if it is worth my time to apply.

What the fuck is going on. i was seriously PTing 172-175. I even got a few 177's in there, but like I said 172-175 was average. I took the exam in October and felt great. Thought I got about -6.

My score? 167. WHAT THE FUCK.

I was right there with you and will retake in December. I felt great going into the last section of the Oct. test (scored LG) and bombed it. I debated canceling and finally did on the last day possible. I attribute my lousy section to devoting too much study time to earlier prep tests and not tackling enough recent games. Now I am working on LOR and my PS in addition to LSAT prep, but I am feeling good about the December test. I encourage you to retake if you are bummed out about your scores. The LSAT is nothing but a gatekeeper. Keep at it.

FYI: While my friends were at the Band of Horses/Jenny Lewis show tonight I did another prep test. I broke 171 for the first time.

PT avg was 164 over 50 PTs, high 172, low 156. I was sick for the October test but scored the exact same as my original test from 9/09 - 154. I want to cry but I'm still in denial hoping it is a LSAC error. I already registered for Dec. I have used up all my study material so I have nothing fresh to prep with. I hate this.

Scored a 143 after several weeks of intense study after a 148 Kaplan prep test (took it cold). My spirit was crushed more so than at any other time in my life.

I am going to retake the lsat next oct. and hopefully do much better. I am going to get all my letters of rec and ps and stuff now, so that is over with and spend the next year studying (possibly with a private tutor).

It is good to know that I was not alone in my utter disappointment.

I bombed the October LSAT but I canceled. Here's to December for those of you who are going to retake!

I normally score 167-172 on PTs, and on both tests I've taken (June and Oct.) I've scored far lower than I should have. June's poor performance was relatively justified, but I just scored a 156 which is nauseatingly awful for me. I interviewed today at Vandy and sat in on a class. That dream has been crushed until December. I felt positive I had to be right around 170 depending on the curve, but I don't know what went wrong. I guess if I start PTing around 180 consistently then I might score a 165-170 for once.

Fuck.
