So how does this effect EDs
So now that its looking more and more like a Nov 1 release, how does this effect ED for schools with Oct/31 Nov 1 deadlines?
Oct 31 is 1 or 2 schools, and with a Nov1 release you would miss that. This seems strange as every school from what i've seen allows for you to take the Sep/Oct test and still ED.
Nov 1 ED deadline means that whenever you get your score Monday (scores have been known to come out very late sometimes) you have a matter of hours to decide which school to ED to. Keep in mind without an LSAT score it would be silly to ED to a school.

Which school?
I know two that say "submit by Nov 1st, everything's gotta be in by November 15th."

Why would you submit a binding ED decision without knowing your score? What if you got a 180?CGI Fridays wrote:Which school?

Well then why are you asking this question?
What information do you hope to acquire?

It seems like the Sep/Oct test has always enabled takers to apply to ED programs before their deadlines. This would mark a change?CGI Fridays wrote:Well then why are you asking this question?

You might be able to get them to let you, but I BELIEVE that an ED is a guarantee that, if admitted, you will attend. Period.Sandro777 wrote:can you withdraw before a decision? I dont know this is why I'm asking.birdmann783 wrote:wouldn't u withdraw as quickly as possible in that scenario?
You sign off on that & it's up to the school at that point. I'd call the school.

You should direct questions about ED to a doctor. Sorry to hear.

You've already been politely told in other threads that if this meant this much to you, as a splitter, perhaps you should have taken the test earlier. I know you said you were working or something, but this is either important to you or it's not.
At any rate, the people to be taking this up with are admissions directors at law schools. Not the internet, where no one has an answer for you.
