Just got a fee waiver from a chitty law school
Is this bad news? I hope it's based on my GPA.

I got unsolicited waivers from TTTT to T-20 after I took the LSAT. It really doesn't matter.

Now you've got me worried as I haven't received ANY waivers and my GPA is pretty decent!bruin10 wrote:Is this bad news? I hope it's based on my GPA.

How do you get waivers sent to you? I just signed up for CRS, last night, and it just acted like it reported the GPA I claimed - not my LSAC GPA. Do I have to do anything to get these offers?
I'm not going to apply, to any, but I'd love to feel wanted

It's like Cumberland is trollin TLS.
"Let's send out random fee waivers the day before the LSAT is released and watch at all the future gunners freak out"

Ooops just realized why I haven't received any - I haven't filled out the form on LSAC to be eligible. That makes me feel much better! I'm assuming you need to fill out the form on LSAC in order to receive them, right?

Anyone else get an unsolicited acceptance from a craptastic lawschool? Nothing says, "waste of student loans" like a school that will accept you before you have expressed interest in attending.
Don't worry about fee waivers from not-so-hot schools. I think the bad ones try to hook as many apps as they can without regard for LSAT scores.

It also seems to help if you register for a LS forum. I have no idea why.JoeShmoe11 wrote:Ooops just realized why I haven't received any - I haven't filled out the form on LSAC to be eligible. I quite frankly think you all are not giving Samford a fair shake here. After all, it has only a 52% acceptance rate. That means almost half of the people who apply there do not get in! And the law school has a wireless network. Seriously, if those two facts don't move it up into the T14, then the T14 is meaningless.

I've been getting stuff from California School of Law and cooley law school well before I even took the LSAT.... So I'm taking this with a grain of salt..
