OCTOBER LSAT QUESTION
Can law schools see our score yet?
Should we be paranoid if we got many fee waivers from a previous score, but since the LSAT, they stopped coming?

Re: OCTOBER LSAT QUESTION
After not receiving any fee waivers previously at all (outside of the usual T4 mass marketing e-mails), just got one from Miami Law. I hope that is not an indication of my score.

FWIW, my score is above their range by a good margin, and I got what was probably the same email from them about 19 minutes ago.justadude55 wrote:does this mean they can see it?dovetail wrote:I lol'ed.Cromartie wrote:After not receiving any fee waivers previously at all (outside of the usual T4 mass marketing e-mails), just got one from Miami Law. 3.86, supposedly. Unfortunately, it doesn't count because I went to an international undergrad.justadude55 wrote:me too. hope this doesn't mean we got a 160.Cromartie wrote:After not receiving any fee waivers previously at all (outside of the usual T4 mass marketing e-mails), just got one from Miami Law. Re: OCTOBER LSAT QUESTION
I got one from George Mason through the mail. The first LSAT I've taken was last week. I haven't submitted my transcripts or anything else yet either. Was this waiver random? Or maybe, as absurd as it may sound, they CAN already see your score! Wishful thinking much?

Re: OCTOBER LSAT QUESTION
I got emails from Michigan state university and some other top schools, then I knew that there was no way that they would have my score... lol

Re: OCTOBER LSAT QUESTION
Plenty of schools send e-mails through the LSAC's CRS, but random fee waivers....?

Re: OCTOBER LSAT QUESTION
Taken from TLS Guide to Fee Waivers:
"Selectivity boost: A portion of the score used to rank law schools is determined by how selective a school is – that is, the percentage of applicants accepted in a given year. Fee waivers generally encourage candidates (both financially and emotionally) to apply to a given school. By issuing fee waivers to candidates unlikely to gain admission, based on their LSAT and GPA, schools can boost their number of rejected applicants, thus increasing their selectivity. An unsolicited fee waiver definitely does not equal guaranteed admission."
...DAMN!

Re: OCTOBER LSAT QUESTION
That is so depressing to read, when my only waivers offered so far are from Tulsa (TTT) and Dayton (TTTT).overunderachiever wrote:Taken from TLS Guide to Fee Waivers:
