Compiled Hardest LR Questions Forum

Okay everyone, I think there's clear consensus on what the hardest questions were, but I don't know if there's consensus on the answers. Not being able to post in public makes it difficult to know.

Here's my idea: I will list the hardest questions here. I think I have the answers to all of them, but I'm not sure. Someone else who's confident PM me and we'll see if we agree. If we do, you should post below that you are also in the "knows the right answers" club, and we can create a directory of people who can authoritatively tell you which answers were (probably) right. If we don't agree, hopefully some patterns will emerge and we can figure out who had the problem and where it was, all through pms, of course.

I don't THINK this violates any rules, since no questions or answers are being discussed in public. If it does though, feel free to shut 'er down.

And now I've learned the hard way that I was so so wrong.

I thought bacteria/cooking and Shakespeare were extremely easy and didn't have to think about them. Car theft asked to explain a discrepancy that wasn't there, and the illogicality of it all made me just pick an answer in disgust and I got it wrong.

Don't remember the thermodynamics or cardio questions at all, so I can't imagine that they were difficult.

I feel very good about having answered all of those correctly based on others. The only question I know I missed was rule of law.

I'm talking hardEST questions. It's all relative. You're right--there wasn't an obvious paradox in the car question, but I felt that there was only one answer which explained all the facts in the stimulus. I figure it had to have been the right one.

All of the ones you posted, I've gotten right if the consensus on TLS is correct. The hardest ones for me were brick houses and rule of law. Rest were easy if you paid attention to details/scope shifts.

Rainforests. I dont know why I kept struggling with that question. I just couldnt wrap my mind around it. I ended up narrowing it down to two and just picking the one my gut told me was right.

I feel good about the bacteria/cooking analogy and shakespeare, iffy on car theft and thermodynamics, and cannot remember the cardiologist. I think my diagram helped me to nail rule of law, but I don't remember much of it. I just remember the diagram was a little tricky, but if my inference was correct, then I nailed it.

I know exactly how you feel. I was there thinking it has to be this, or could be this, and then went with what i felt was the best.

I thought the hiring question was easy. The journalists question was confusing, though.
