can you see your score after you cancell?

Does LSAC show you your actual score even after you cancel it?

I would guess you never get an actual score.

Nope. No score and no answer choices so you can't even figure out your score.

They do cocktease you though with the Item Response Report or whatever. It just doesn't have your answers or score. They even send you an email that says:

Your October 2010 LSAT Score: Cancel

Can you imagine what would happen if LSAC told people that cancel what their score would have been? They would probably have to hike the test fees to pay for the extra staff they would have to hire to field all the phone calls and sort through all the extra emails they would get from people that canceled once score reports come out.

No, but can you imagine the torture of canceling and then seeing a 175? No. Thanks. Even if it is technically repeatable, yuck!

Yeah, that is the type of situation I was thinking about that would end up creating a bunch of restless natives ready to storm the LSAC castle demanding their scores be uncanceled after getting told what they would have got had they not canceled when it was a good score.

I don't doubt that people have canceled scores that would have been in the 165ish and even 170+ range, but only LSAC knows the true data about such instances.

I don't think they are ever graded & counted toward the curve, thus LSAC doesn't know the true data, 'cause there are no data to be known. Eskimo crossed out my "I would assume" on this point earlier... so I would assume that she's not just assuming...
