Types of LG and New Rules on October 2010 Test?
What were the game types on the test?
Were there any conditional sequencing rules OR the new replacement rule?

I remember at least one replacement rule...but I can't remember if it was on my experimental section or the real one.

no conditional sequencing although a kind of tricky sequencing.

A don't remember if it was on Exp or real but there was a sequencing where you had more places than people which throws me off sometimes.

Two reasons you aren't getting an answer, I suspect: No one wants to risk the banhammer just to give the competition an edge AND I think everyone here who took the test yesterday would rather talk to someone else who took the test yesterday and share horror stories to make themselves feel better.
Come back in a few weeks after scores are out and you're more likely to get people listening to you. Though they will probably have forgotten by then.
I can generalize for you though. Games section seemed about a 4 out of 10 to me in difficulty. MUCH easier than June 2010 - those games freaked me the hell out. On this test I remember the last was a fairly simple sequencing game. As far as the others I don't know the correct terminology to name them as Im not big on giving names to section types.

Honestly, the more I try to recollect on the test, the more I feel that I didn't even take the POS. In fact, so much worrying on these forums is even starting to make me doubt if I even took the test

1st, thanks for the very informative reply.JoeShmoe11 wrote:Two reasons you aren't getting an answer, I suspect: No one wants to risk the banhammer just to give the competition an edge AND I think everyone here who took the test yesterday would rather talk to someone else who took the test yesterday and share horror stories to make themselves feel better.

2nd, I agree with everything you said except for the ban part. Talking game types or the kinds of rules is allowed. Posting questions or actual answers is not. A minor thing since your post was otherwise 100% on the money.

All i'll say is that since the mid 50s or so they have always had a game with something that says 'consider rule Blah, removing rule blah and replacing it with which one of these will have the same effect.' They have fallen in love with that question but their new infatuation seems to be bees. Maybe because they're all dying?

They had the "same effect" question in LG on 57, 58, 59, and Feb 2010, but not on June 2010 (60).WonkyPanda wrote:All i'll say is that since the mid 50s or so they have always had a game with something that says 'consider rule Blah, removing rule blah and replacing it with which one of these will have the same effect.' I like your profile pic...
Maybe they're switching to bees b/c a panel of scientists agreed in March 2010 that the Chicxulub impact is the cause of dinosaur extinction.

Yeah I probably got that question wrong too- I hate those damn replacement ones.WonkyPanda wrote:All i'll say is that since the mid 50s or so they have always had a game with something that says 'consider rule Blah, removing rule blah and replacing it with which one of these will have the same effect.' To the OP, there was really nothing new. I was expecting them to throw something crazy at me and was surprised to find that it was pretty typical.

I dont know whats up with LSAC lately, but they have to start choosing "normal" names for their LG people. I'm hispanic (so Ive heard some funky names), but LSAC overdoes it. They started using better names from the mid 40's to the early 50's, but on the last few tests the strange names have resurfaced. Yesterday was no exception...

The following concepts were tested:

Something like:
http://lsatblog.blogspot.com/2010/06/pr ... ation.html
Thats all I can find with a quick peruse of Lsatblog, needless to say really really easy LG.
Mods: Im pretty sure this post is cool since Im just linking to old games, if not Im sorry.
