How much lower than your PT avg. to cancel?

Post by TonyStarks » Sat Oct 09, 2010 3:52 pm

I was averaging around 166-168 on the few PT's that I did, but I got really frazzled on the first section today when I misjudged my time and it carried over. If I had to guess, I would estimate that I got around a 150 or so. Do you guys think this is low enough from my PT's to warrant a cancel, since I am almost positive I could do better in December. I mean 3 of the 4 sections I was forced to just put B for the last few questions, which typically never happens to me except for LG sometimes.

How much better would a cancel-168 look than a 150-168?

If you average 168 and got a 150 you should cancel. I've done enough lurking to know that this is a no brainer. Sorry bout it though but there's always December.

Id say cancel even if you got a 160, especially if youve gotten 166-168 consistently

I'm wondering the same. At this point, I'm so tired and burnt out that I'm telling myself to accept whatever score comes in my inbox and then kick ass in Dec. I'm thinking I got around 150 or so too. I need to sleep on it...

I've stalked opinions on canceling for a low score before (hopefully) getting a high score, but I totally forget WHY going from 150 to 165+ looks bad if the school one applies to takes the highest.... can anyone refresh my shriveled memory please? And what if you added some bs addendum for the lower score?

I'm in the same situation. I also PT'd in the 166-168 range, but absolutely killed myself on my first section, RC. Never got over it, and I don't see how I could have gotten better than 160.
