My dads a diabetic and I was thinking about taking a glucose tablet before the test (Id do a few sections tom to see). It is my understanding that glucose gives cells in the brain energy. Anyone with me or is this just a stupid idea? I'll take the flame so bring it.

Doesn't mean it's not true but I have diabetes and I have never heard that in my life.

It's true that neurons (cells of the brain as you called it) can only derive energy from glucose. However, how fast you can answer questions (or your response rate) depends on (1) how extensive your neuron network is and (2) how fast your neurons fire (communicate between one another). Increasing the glucose level in your body doesn't accomplish much of these two, well maybe the second one. But taking inappropriate amount of glucose can risk a hyperglycemia, and I would not recommend you to do so.

I think this is a bad idea. On test day, you should just do what you always do. Especially don't do anything that could risk your health. I will admit that this test made me almost as crazy. My massage therapist told me that some study in Japan proved that sniffing lemon oil "opened up the brain cells". Damned if I didn't pour lemon oil all over my wrists on test day. It smelled pretty relaxing. Doubt if it really helped my score, although I did do pretty well.

I got a 180 on every practice test ever so I'll get a 181 if I squeeze lemons into my eyes right guys?

Bad idea. . . Just eat well and possibly eat a piece of dark chocolate before the test and during the break if you believe in the benefit of chocolate and/or sugar. . .but make sure you have enough "real" food to balance out the rapid increase and crash of any sugar you eat. . .
