Can someone help me out on why B is right. No matter how many times i read it, the first sentence comes off as the conclusion?

Side note: anyone else find this LR section to be unusually tough? Normally miss between 4 and 8, but this one hit me for 12!

OK, you have to inspire curiosity to be an intriguing person, but how do you inspire curiosity? The argument is mainly structured to answer that question. One way to do that, according to the argument, is to make yourself constantly mysterious by broadening your abilities.

I agree that this LR section is tougher than most.

The first sentence cannot be a conclusion because it states that it is a given fact. Conclusions have to be independently derived from collected premises, as opposed to being proven facts or blindly accepted ideas due to conventional thought.

So the correct answer is B? Why does Manhattan LSAT have an explanation for the correct answer being A.

I just spent 10 min. trying to "see the correct logic" in A being right...

I am an idiot. Sorry for bashing the very helpful Manhattan LSAT forum.
