Gallon-Sized Bag Forum

I am a bit confused as to what constitutes a gallon sized bag. Does anyone know exactly what they mean by this, as i do not have the box that my current bag came in and thus cannot tell if it is or not.

haha i don't know if this is the right way to answer your question, but it refers to the amount of volume you can put into the bag. all trashbags, ziplock bags, etc say exactly how much space they hold on the box. if you aren't sure I'd probably go out and buy a package of ziplocks for like $2 or $4 or whatever it is. I don't know how strict they are but I got an e-mail tonight and it sounds like they are nazis about it. i've had airport security let me take a carry on with more then 3 ozs of liquid(tooth paste) but for some reason I can see LSAC cracking down on the person who brings too much into the test room.

You should have a general idea what a gallon bag looks like. It's about 4 times as big as a quart bag. If you're really at a loss, see how much of a gallon jug you can pour into it.

Just buy a box of gallon ziploc bags (or a generic equivalent) at your local grocery store. They're the ones labeled "gallon".

Dimensions I think are 10.5w x 11h, or 26.3 cm x 27.8 cm.
