DL expires day before LSAT Forum

I just realized my DL expires the day before the LSAT. Do you think they will accept my current DL with the piece of paper they give you saying you renewed? Birthdays suck

I do and am currently looking for it, but Ive been looking for a few days and so far unsuccessful. I am just trying to be prepared for the worst case scenario.

Aren't two picture IDs required ?

You only need one id if you are testing in the U.S., with your thumbprint as the second form of id. Also referring to Drivers License, i do think they would probably not allow it, as it states unexpired, in large letters on the ticket. Even is LSAC approves it, the testing center might not get word of it and that would be an issue. Do you live in a state where you have to wait in the mail for the Drivers License, or a state like New Jersey where renewal takes about 15 minutes?

Absolutely call LSAC tomorrow and ask them what to do. 99% chance they won't accept an expired / invalid driver's license on test day. My driver's license actually expired today but I got a passport.

I'm sure there's a rule against using expired ID, but I'd be willing to bet that the people checking your ID won't even notice the expiration date.

Uh, just go to the DMV on that friday and get your new one.

Here you have to wait for your new id to come in the mail. In the meantime they give a slip of paper will all your info on it except the picture to carry around. I found my passport guys! All is good. Oh and I called LSAC yesterday and they said the slip of paper + the old ID would be fine, but I agree, the people at the testing center may decide not to follow that. I have never gone outside the states, but I am sooo glad i splurged for a passport a few years back.

My friend had one of those paper ID's. It was funny when Chevy's wouldn't sell him alcohol when if a cop had pulled him over the ID would have been fine for that.

I have this exact same problem. Does anyone know if ANY passport is accepted, or does it have to be a US passport?
