Logic Game success on test day

Post by hennenr » Wed Sep 29, 2010 12:20 pm

I'm taking the October lsat and have been testing in the high 160's but this is because I have been averaging -0 on the LG but I'm worried that maybe it's from memorization of the games or if I can actually expect a -0 on test day.

Does anyone with a similar experience have any relevant advice?

There are certain games that I remember very well and when they show up on a preptest I go -0 and it only takes me 5 minutes. I went through the pithypike LG study plan and it did wonders for me considering that when I started I was getting -18 to -19 in LG. I'm just worried that I'll bomb the LG on the real thing because I've lulled myself into a false sense of security.

oh - so you are talking about recognizing patterns? that's what is supposed to happen. anyways, you will likely have some nerves on test day, but just go in there with confidence and if a game doesn't fit one of the many patterns you have come to recognize, always be ready to adapt...that's key.
