PT33, S3, Q7 - Quick question
what is the difference between A and E? The only one I see is that A uses the exact language from the stimulus of "newspapers and telivised news programs" whereas E uses the term "news magazines". But doesn't "news magazines" include and cover "newspapers and televised news programs"? Thanks!

Re: PT33, S3, Q7 - Quick question
(A) focuses on how much the new covers crime, while (E) is about how important a role the news plays. (A) weakens because it disconnects the proportion of reports of crime to how much crime there actually is (the news is simply being more comprehensive about the same amount of crime). (E) is irrelevant because the role the news plays doesn't indicate how much the news focuses on crime. Maybe it's the same amount of focus, but we pay more attention now.
Does that clear it up?
