I visited a free preview seminar this week for a reading speed/comprehension course with Effective Reading Center. I'm fairly sure they have locations at many college campuses across the country and I was curious to see if anyone has any experience with this course/or others like it?
I would consider myself an average reader as far as speed is concerned, and my biggest issue with my LSAT diagnostic was timing on the RC and LR sections. I don't doubt that a reading speed/comprehension course could be beneficial, but I'm skeptical that these "techniques" are worth shelling out $350 that I could be channeling to my LSAT study materials fund.

In my opinion you will improve your speed on RC just as much doing plenty of practice sections and I would save the $350 maybe to apply to a couple of extra reaches and buy some more LSAT resources.

Spend that $350 on books instead. Seriously. I attribute my reading comprehension skill to numerous trips to Barnes and Noble.
