Logical Reasoning Question

Prep Test 29 Section 1 # 18. Can someone please show me how they would work this out using formal logic?

PC = planning committe member
FI= financial interests
LS= live in suburbs

first sentence diagramm: PC <SOME> FI
second sentence diagramm: PC -> ~LS (not live in suburbs)

using the transitive property, PC, we can combine the above statements to get
~LS <SOME> FI

What does that first sentence mean? I understand the second one.

its means SOME planning committe members have financial interests. Also, vice versa.
