PTing for Oct LSAT..Advice Please
I am taking the LSAT in October. I have taken prep tests 54 and 55 in my testmasters class and we will also take 56 and 57. I have also taken prep tests 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38. (scores ranged between 160-169)
Starting tomorrow and until a couple of days before the test, is it a good idea to take prep tests 32,33 and 39-60?
What do you guys think? Is that too many tests in the amount of time left?
Should i take more? (I worked through 1-15 as individual sections so i have 16-30 left. I want to use some of them as 5th sections though.)

How frequently were you taking tests before now? It may be a good idea to increase the number and frequency of PTs now, but only if you feel that you can do so without burning out.

I did not take that many, maybe like 2 a week for the past 2 weeks. Before that i I was mainly focused on getting the concepts down.St.Remy wrote:How frequently were you taking tests before now? If you are used to taking 2 per you should definitely be able to transition to 3 per week without much difficulty. I'd say do more than 3 per week if you feel up to it, as in my experience the more PTs you take the better. Just be sure to ease up a bit right before the test so that your brain gets a chance to de-stress and recharge.313D313 wrote: I did not take that many, maybe like 2 a week for the past 2 weeks. How many days before the test did you stop taking Practice tests?

I'm taking 39-60 before the exam, with 3/4 per week

I think I stopped taking PTs like 3 days before the test. 2 days before the test I did a quick overview of question strategies and did some individual questions. The day before the test I did nothing LSAT related. The day of the LSAT I did a logic game section the morning before the test started to warm up my brain, because I am most decidedly not a morning person.313D313 wrote:How many days before the test did you stop taking Practice tests?

I'm going to experiment with doing one LG, one RC passage, and about 5 LR Questions of different types as a pre-test warm up.St.Remy wrote: The day of the LSAT I did a logic game section the morning before the test started to warm up my brain, because I am most decidedly not a morning person.
I realize that my biggest problem is warming up, not stamina.

I'm skeptical of whether or not myself and the OP can do 3 tests a week without burning out or cutting down the time we spend reviewing our last PT. However, I'd like to try b/c I've been doing 2 a week for a few months and my score has flat-lined.
Any advice?
