SuperPrep B LG difficulty
I've been hearing a lot of people making remarks about the tests in SuperPrep, about how such and such is harder than normal, easier than normal etc. I don't know if these are valid or not but:
I just took test B and got a 169, an ok score for me. Except, I got a -9 on the LG section. and a -4/-1/-2 on LR/RC/LR, respectively. Does anyone know if the LG section in this is more difficult than normal? I ask this because it's hard for me to tell, having not done LG since the beginning of prep, 2.5 months ago.
I wanna know because otherwise i"m really excited about my score. I don't often get -2s and -1s. And I figure I can hone my LG skills with not too much difficulty.

You had 2000 years to prep and you were only studying for the last 2.5 months? Stop slacking imo.

I would say that the LG is harder than normal and the RC and Arguments are the same maybe a little easier. I scored my highest so far in SPB. I don't know if it should matter the difficulty vs. score since it is scaled and all. I mean regardless of how hard it is still scaled based on percentile ranks of questions correct.

I have the same feelings as this person as well as I scored my highest so far on superprep b.StrictlyLiable wrote:I would say that the LG is harder than normal and the RC and Arguments are the same maybe a little easier. I got -2 on LG but had gone -0 for the four tests before this.

Missing that many you are probably often missing ones on newer tests as well.NJcollegestudent wrote:I got a -17 on that LG section.

The Superprep B curve is pretty forgiving. -4 is still 180. I do remember the LGs being on the more difficult side.

Typical LG scores for me are anywhere from as low as -5 to -10, nowhere near the -17. Incredibly, i was still at my average test scores, as i did well on the other three sections.

Re: SuperPrep B LG difficulty
Ahh I see. So I guess the score I got was pretty normal then. Dang, I was just starting to give myself some false hope. If I had gotten what I usually get wrong in LG, I'd be at 173, a personal best. Oh well.
Actually, if I recall correctly, I got a fair amount of the Pure Sequencing question wrong too, so it wasn't just the last 2. Maybe that's a silver lining? haha idk.
