Pt 50-60 September Crew. Enter Here
October test takers ranging in any PT range. Over the month of September I was hoping to do PT 50- 60. I would like to start on 50 on the 1st and finishe with 60 on the 30th. I am looking to start a group that would be interested on this. Example would be take test on 1st. Review personally on 2 day and then on 3rd enter a private chat to
discuss. Anyone interested PM me.

Are you going to do experimentals though? 43-60 is....18 PT's. So I guess I'll be taking 14 PT's and then use 4 as experimentals. So I think that, from Sept 1st to test day is ~5 weeks. So i'll be taking a just less than 3 a week.am060459 wrote:im planning on doing 45-60. that puts me at 3 PTs a week.

I am polishing off 32-38 the next 10 days. I have taken 40-49 but will use them again. I have saved 50-60 for Sept.

I just finished PT 43 and scored a 166. -10 on LR, -6 on RC (blegh), and -1 on LG. I think I can hit PT 50 by september 1st, but I still have to do the Superpreps. Is it best to do those before the 50s or should i just mix them in? I never read into how 'modern' the Superpreps are as a test.

I would do this, but I plan on taking test 60 on the 7th. I'll probably join for 52-58 or so. I'm kind of running out of preptests and I haven't made copies :-\

Superpreps are pretty old. I'd do those now when the explanations will help you formulate the LSAT going forward.WonkyPanda wrote:I just finished PT 43 and scored a 166. -10 on LR, -6 on RC (blegh), and -1 on LG. On my schedule i plan to do Superprep C and PT43-60 starting from 9/4. going to use 4 PTs (40, 46, 50, 57) for the experimental sections. that makes 3PTs per week until test day. GO US!

ugh, the thought just makes my brain ache. Do you guys try to fool yourselves with the experimental or do you consciously know which one is the experimental? On one hand, I feel that it's sort of dumb to fool yourself because you need to gauge your true performance on any section. On the other hand, i feel that I sort of take it "easier" on the section i know that is an experimental.xqhp82 wrote:On my schedule i plan to do Superprep C and PT43-60 starting from 9/4. going to use 4 PTs (40, 46, 50, 57) for the experimental sections. that makes 3PTs per week until test day. For me, a -0 for a section is just as rewarding as a high score overall. So for section work, I just aim for -0 and try to forget about the whole score, especially for an experimental which won't count.WonkyPanda wrote:ugh, the thought just makes my brain ache. Also, I'm doing 50-60 scattered through end of August-beginning of October. The last test I'm taking is 59, because for some reason 60 intimidates me and I have a weird idea that I won't do well on it and anyways, I just don't want it to be my last test for some reason known only to me. I'm doing it - just as my second last PT.

Re: Pt 50-60 September Crew. Enter Here
I would be down for doing 50-60 in September then discussion results if anyone is interested.
The first is a Wednesday and the other day of the week that makes sense is Saturday (at 8am). Anyone else down for taking them every Wednesday and Saturday in September and discussing either later that night or the next day (Thursday/Sunday)? So far I've been saving these tests for September and have been doing tests in tens and twenties for the time being. I've only taken four tests and have received a 167 (PT9), 164 (PT7), 171 (PT 25) and 173 (PT 27) taken in that order and timed to 35 minutes a section with no breaks between sections and bubbling answers. Weakest section being LG on every test. Shooting for a 170.

Pulled a 180 on PT 33 tonight then started 32 and missed 5 on LR1. This shows that I need to work on focus a bit more. Anyway, PT 45 starting on Sept 1? Everyone in agreement? or would pt 50 be a better start instead?

I'll be taking a lot more than those 10 tests in September, but I'll be glad to join in when my schedule syncs up.
