First time ever doing questions from a practice LSAT
So I decided to just pick up the LR section of the June 2007 LSAT I printed out and try to complete the questions untimed. I did 24 questions (I didn't do the first one since I had looked at it beforehand and remembered the answer) and I got 17 correct (about 70%). How's that for a first time? Is this about the same level where most people start off? I'm sure I took longer than 35 minutes as well.

its much more challenging when faced with the 35 minute time constraint
you must be doing at most -5 timed to get 160+. so, good job, but don't get too cocky yet.

Really, the first test you ever take is a pretty poor indicator of how you will actually do, but it can show you aptitude or potential. There are many, MANY LSAT test takers who received very high scores on practice tests only to score 5-10 points lower on the actual LSAT. It sounds like you probably have the intellect but you still probably have months of rigorous study ahead of you before you are ready.spruce_moose wrote:So I decided to just pick up the LR section of the June 2007 LSAT I printed out and try to complete the questions untimed. -5 timed? That means no more than 5 wrong on each section right?

Yep. Take a full test, timed, to get an actual idea of where you stand.spruce_moose wrote:-5 timed? That means no more than 5 wrong on each section right?
