PT 45, LR 1, #3
This is an assumption (type 2S question). I picked (B) because it is a necessary assumption (if I deny the it the argument falls apart). Yet, what is wrong with (D) "the task cannot be assigned...." if you deny this, it contradicts a premise..so why is this wrong? I have found in general answers that attack (or you think attack the premise) are not correct, but answers that attack the conclusion or the assumption are correct....PLEASE HELP! PT 45, LR 1, #3

D is the answer. Just because the task was assigned to the "only supervisor in the shipping department other than Larson and Franks" doesn't mean it was assigned to Parker because he was the only other supervisor. Him being the only other supervisor is just describing who he is, its not stating what has to be true of the person assigned the assignment.lawschoolisfun2012 wrote:This is an assumption (type 2S question).
