Re: Retaking LSAT - Should I take Testmasters Again?
I took both Kaplan and the LSAT twice. I did not do any of the assigned homework the first time. For the second test, I did every assignment and suggested study time. My score improved 10 points.

Retake the TestMasters course since half-price is a steal & you probably will benefit from experiencing a different instructor's teaching style. My opinion is that TestMasters LSAT review is designed for those willing to work exceptionally hard on their exam prep.

No, but I really hope that you prove me wrong! However, it doesn't matter what I think, just what you do.
P.S. I do believe that a score can be increased by 18 points for one who took the LSAT without any, or with extremely minimal, preparation or took the test under very stressful conditions which have since changed. But you scored a 152 after an LSAT review course & reading the PowerScore Bibles.
P.P.S. Also be sure to check with TestMasters regarding whether the half price guarantee is half off the current price of $1450 or half off the Feb. 2008 price of $1250.

Take Testmasters again. To steal a line from AA, the program works if you work it.

My TM course is also 30 miles away. They start the a Q&A at 5:30 where you can ask questions on any of the homework. I highly suggest you go to these, so for the 30 minutes before class starts your teacher can pretty much answer any questions you have since only a few students ever show up that early (at least at my TM class). Leave at like 4:30, get to the class early and just read the economist until the Q&A/class starts.g-children wrote:Ok, so here is my background. I took the Testmasters course in Feb of 08 and it was very rushed, I didnt get a chance o go through nearly all of the homework as I was in school full-time with a heavy workload. I ended up deciding I wasnt ready and didnt take the LSAT. Fast forward to 2010, I took the LSAT in Feb 10 and scored 152, I hardly studied, all I studied with Powerscore Bibles....
TM has this repeaters policy I would only pay 625 to take the full length course again. Because I want to retake the LSAT in Oct. I think the structure will force me to be more serious and study harder, I really do blive I have the potential to do waaay better if I just study hard enough and focus.
What do you think?
Also, the TM course is about 30 miles away from me. And driving there at 530-6pm would be crazy at rush hour. And I have taken a lot of past LSATs over my LSAT journey, I am concerned. I dont want to pay 625 only to study questions I have studied before...or to sit in a class where you have some student that asks a lot of questions and therefore you dont gain as much out of the whole experience.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Honestly, I wouldn't. I would save the $625 and self study.
