Hello all. I've recently started studying for the LSAT. A few things: I scored a 156 on the diagnostic test and am shooting for a 172 on the actual LSAT. I'm hoping this is not unrealistic as I've given myself over six months to prepare. I plan on taking the Feb. test but if I do not feel ready by December, will take the June test instead which gives me nearly a year of prep. Since I have given myself more than a few months to study, I've only been spending a little over an hour a day on practice problems and plan to take a practice test once every two weeks until it gets closer to the actual test. Does this sound reasonable? Any advice would be great!
Also, anyone coming from a background which required the GRE? I was thrilled to find out just how different the LSAT was. No more hundreds of vocab. flashcards! Questions that appear to test your intelligence rather than your memorization skills! Strange to be excited about a test, but still.

You'll be significantly more successful getting responses if your questions are not easily answered by looking through previous posts. Spend some time reading through the posts and if you can't find the info, post againelibrarian wrote:Hello all. I've recently started studying for the LSAT. I appreciate that. If I could figure out how to delete this posting, I would. Thanks.
