Main Conclusion Practice

Post by sdphill » Fri Jul 23, 2010 11:15 am

Is there any website that I can visit so I can practice finding the main conclusion in a stimulus?

Do you want practice problems or something that walks you through on how to do it?

Either one will be fine...

As I am going through the LRB, I see that I sometimes pick the wrong conclusion in a multi-conclusion stimulus.

If you need more practice doing problems you can buy --LinkRemoved-- and practice specific main point arguments.

Be careful though, reread the chapter on the Main Point/Conclusion problems in the LRB. When you read the stimulus read slow and understand what is being said. Other than that just practice, it'll come to you easier eventually.

Thanks for the help... I just feel as if I should catch on to this concept quicker.. I have only been going through the LRB for 4 days now, so I guess I am just pushing myself too hard.

Go slow and reason with yourself why every answer is right and the others are wrong. That'll help you logically come into focus.
