After I take a timed test, and before I look at the answer choices, I like to go back through the test untimed and try to see if I can correct any of my mistakes. This is easy enough for LR and LG, but I wasn't sure what approach to take for RC. Do I just read and reference the line number that makes the answer choice incorrect? Do I write up a summary of the passage, do I do both?

Re: Reviewing RC passage questions
I'll usually go back and highlight or underline the correct answers with a red pen when I've finished the test. This seems to work for me. Other than that, there isn't really too much you can do for RC other than doing a shit ton of passages.brickman wrote:After I take a timed test, and before I look at the answer choices, I like to go back through the test untimed and try to see if I can correct any of my mistakes. Re: Reviewing RC passage questions
If I were you, I would take it untimed until I get perfect accuracy (depending on how many tests you have left). If you can't get it untimed then you won't be able to get it timed for sure, so once you are able to see patterns in correct answers untimed, your time will naturally improve. Also, if you take it timed, and then go back, you are a wasting questions because you will rarely ever go back to passage on a real test. But that's just my advice, since its been working for me.
