1 PrepTest per week...
Is this enough?? I'm taking the test in October...
If I was to say I'm trying to study HARDCORE how many tests a week would that normally be?

No, you need to do them more like 3 a week or every other day at a minimum. Surely, you can fit in one during the week on a Wednesday, and 2 over the weekend. Preferably, you'd do more like 5 a week, with two days off.

Depends what level you are at right now. I would say around 2 per week is fine. You don't want to burn out doing too many per week.

Studying "HARDCORE" means doing pretty much every PT before the actual. Not counting 1-6, that leaves around 53 or so. Doing one a week is the opposite of what the OP wants.

It depends where you are. This far ahead, you shouldn't be taking that many per week - I would say 1 is fine. Focus on the Bibles, figure out your approach to the questions, focus on certain question types or certain sections a day. Do 1 PT a week / every couple of weeks to see where you are overall, and to get used to the time format as well.
Later you might want to amp up the frequency, but make sure to review each PT thoroughly. Reviewing is important. Otherwise you're just burning through valuable questions without really learning anything. Personally my max was 3 a week, leaving the days in between to review and focus on any weak points.

We don't really know how many PT OP has done so far. And again like I said, it depends on the level that he is now. It's not really about quantity rather it is quality of each PT that he takes.sumus romani wrote:DGLitcH wrote:Depends what level you are at right now. I would say around 2 per week is fine. Yes but I think the obvious assumption is that he also wants to be as effective as he can...sumus romani wrote:DGLitcH wrote:Depends what level you are at right now. I would say around 2 per week is fine. You don't want to burn out doing too many per week.

Re: 1 PrepTest per week...
I have 12 weeks left till the test and 17 pts left, so it's just one every five days or so for me. I guess I could buy like 8 more but I've already done a few from the LGB from those tests.

Re: 1 PrepTest per week...
Something I tried that worked well for me, OP, was "pyramiding." I did one test per week for about 6 weeks, 2 per week for 4, 3 per week for 2 weeks, and then took a few days off before the actual test.
Obviously everyone works differently, but I just thought I'd share what I found helpful.
