First time writing practice LSAT with no experience
I just picked up an old test and did the test casually, but timed it to make it seem more realistic and to get a relatively accurate estimate of where I am. I have 0 experience and this was literally my first encounter with any LSAT material.
I got a raw score of 51 and 146. Just wondering what anyone thinks of this or what this really means (i.e. how much higher can I realistically raise my mark, is it low/high/average as a starting point etc.)
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

it means you werent born with the gift of lsat mastery and you have to study to improve your score.
itemize what questions you got wrong, then consider a prep course ( there are reps from prep courses on this thing- just start a new thread about prep courses and they will come to you like sharks in bloodied water.) If not, then go for self study. IF you are planning on taking the test in October, start right aaway ( at least 1.5 hours a day 6 days a week)
this test is learnable, the amout of effort and time that you put in will dictate how much your score will increase. There are a lot of stories about people scoring 15 points higher than their initial score. BUt you will have to work for it, and sacrifice your free time.
Good luck, grasshopper

There is no standard level of improvement you can expect to see. I had a diag of 147 and was PTing in the low 170s before the June test. I choked on LG and ended up getting a 162. Don't listen to anybody who says you can only expect to see {this many points} from your diag. It's horseshit. The LSAT is a standardized test that anybody can learn.

I agree, I think the LSAT is totally learnable (to a certain extent) if you're willing to put the work in.3|ink wrote:Albatross wrote:Unless your a complete tard.omeezy4sheezy wrote:Albatross wrote:There is no standard level of improvement you can expect to see.
