Anyone interested is welcome (Especially retakers- lack of original material sucks)! I was going to set up a schedule for preptests and then we could share difficulties/questions/tips via PM after each one/section as time permits.
Eh?

Wow. That is a great improvement. Not sure if I would take it again with a 173. But if you think you can do better then why not? Congratulations.bk187 wrote:Good luck.
I went 166 to a 173, and might be retaking a third time (haven't fully decided not to yet).
I was PT'ing at 178 avg prior to the 173 with my lowest at 172 so I feel I underperformed on test day (nerves got to me, which is unusual).deadhipsters wrote:Wow. That is a great improvement. Yes. That sounds good. I have already started on 9 onward, and you may be right, some of the LG's are actually absurd and not relevant. So what are you thinking, one test once a week? Like a Sat test day? And then review Sunday? I will order the Superprep book this week. Have both of you guys done pretty much all of the most recent PT's? Because I have. But, I have not seen the Sept 2009, June 2010, or any of the Superprep tests. I would like to save these for a later date while we hone our basic skills, if no one is opposed.hulahoop wrote:Wow. 9 onward, there is no way I have the time/patience to do that. I work full time and live with 2 men with ridic schedules. Plus, I am not sure it is all completely relevant. I believe that after a certain amount of tests it is about the concepts, not the amount of practice. At least that is how I feel right now, based on my study the last time around. I was planning to do the 3 in Superprep and pretty much from 29 forward, roughly following the 3 month guide from Lsatblog. http://lsatblog.blogspot.com/2009/06/3- ... edule.html Actually, I have been using up 29-39 to drill certain questions types/sections at the moment. I am right around the beginning of month 2 I guess, just finished the bibles, gonna schedule the tests between now and Oct. How does that sound to you guys? Input?
Anyway, its almost 2 am on Fri night, if that sounds good I will PM you more details in the morning, hopefully sans hangover.

As of now, it looks like just the 4 of us. I work 9-6, with random weekend days. Gonna try to do a full length preptest this saturday (before work-ugh- so might not happen), would #44 work for everyone? Working my way through the earlier ones one section at a time right now, just got Kaplan mastery, might use that to drill LR. LG is still my major weakness though, sigh.
Ok guys, so just to put it all out there, can we get some background/where everyone is coming from?
ME:
Undergrad: Berkeley 09, polisci major (been working/figuring shit out for the last year)
LSAC GPA: 1.9
June 2008: was practicing 169-175 range, scored 169. Aiming 172+ this time.
weakness: LG (got like -6, total brainfart that just killed the rest of my test)
I'm glad you clarified that. The TBS marathon can do that to you. Anyway, Hulahoop you want to set the schedule?hulahoop wrote:Sounds good. yes I didn't fail college, although apparently I can't type while watching Family Guy. 3.9![]()
Glad you guys are in, this should help immensely. If only so we are all accountable to stick to a schedule.

Yes, I’m up to do PT 30. I think I am going to have to do it in pieces. I’ve got a lot on my plate this week. So, I will not be able to spend time obsessively studying, talking, and thinking about the LSAT (sigh).hulahoop wrote:lmao I thought the platypus passage was awesome. like, most interesting lsat info ever. Guess thats what a real life boring data entry job will do to ya

That is all I have to add right now, sorry. Had a long day at work. Gonna try to work through all of PT30 this week if you wanna do it with me deadhipsters. I will post my results of 29 in a bit (must eat food).
Oh, did you get 1:13 (section 1, question 13) right? It was the only one I missed on that section, and it was b/c went back and changed my answer from the correct one to D. Now I seem to have screwed up my reasoning b/c I can't reconvince myself that A is a better answer. I almost always have time left for LR and RC, and apparently still use that time to go second guess myself and change correct answers to wrong ones. sigh.
