How schools consider multiple LSAT scores(please contribute)

Post by James2010 » Thu Jul 15, 2010 8:04 pm

Some schools state their policy on their website but many do not and these policies do change over time. The advice I got was to contact the admiss departments. I am sure others have contacted admissions staff as well and there is a wealth of knowledge on this in the forums so I was wondering if people could contribute what they've learned to this thread for all of our benefit. I'll start it off:

UCLA - (by phone) - takes the highest score

Berkeley - (by email) - "Multiple LSAT scores will be considered on a case by case basis. We're more likely to use the average if the difference between the two scores is small (i.e. less than 6 points). Otherwise, we'll use the highest score, and you are always welcome to submit an addendum explaining the score discrepancy."
