Post by Ineedhelpplease » Sun Jul 11, 2010 11:11 pm

hey helpful fellow tls's..... just wanted opinion on my progression i recently took a preptest(45) got a 158 and im looking to get into the mid 160's... logical reasoning is my weakness and games are my strength... i recently started to study reading comp and got a -11 on this timed preptest. Is it unreasonable to believe i can get into the mid 160's...thanks

as long as you work on the sections and areas that you are having trouble with. youll see score increases. There is still about 3 months left to study... still plenty of time for improvement

good luck- keep ur head up

this will probably take away from the original post but i get very confused by the abstract answer choices in logical reasoning and does anybody have a "trick" for must be true/inference questions... i really want to improve and any tips would be much appreciated.

Use the logical reasoning bible by powerscore. Do NOT just do practice test after practice test. You risk getting into a habit of repeating mistakes. Do the prep first and then take the practice tests. Dont worry about where you are, if you prepare well you'll end up with a good score.

Good luck!
