PT11 RC#4 grrr

Post by DrackedaryMaster » Fri Jul 09, 2010 9:31 pm

In doing the prep-tests, my largest excitement comes on RC. I've gotten used to reading boring material and this is one section that I'm hoping to pay dividends. So far, this is the only section I've managed to consistently finish within the strict 35 minutes, usually missing around 3-5, usually the last question of each passage deemed the "difficult" one or a total non-grasp of the passage (-2) or more on one passgage by itself.

Thought I did pretty well in PT11 RC section. Between Qs 1 and Q22, only Q7 tripped me up on the King Passage (I chose B, but I guess the word "prove" was too strong, and I didn't equate ethical standards to equal higher law.

The midwife passage PO'd me though. I picked "D", looking at how midwifes were distinguished in the group from woman medical practitioner and identified as such as having certain characteristics. Looking back on it, I don't think I read the stem clear enough. I can see B for Lines 10-12, but not very clearly.

26. I see the whole 44 into 121 correlation with D. I jumped on the fact that again, they were singled out as a recognized group in C.
However, that apparentally does not mean they were recognized as members of the medical community.

27. This is a type of question I just cannot get a grasp on. A/D.

Am I moving forward or back?
