hardest questions of all time
what are the "hardest" questions/section from each section (such questions as the dinosaur game, but not limited to LGs, etc)?

Search around the blog he also has the 5 hardest LR and 5 hardest RC. Of course, it's all pretty subjective.

'Hardest' depends on the individual. I find myself in disagreement with the vast majority of these selections.Knockglock wrote:See: http://lsatblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/ha ... -hard.htmlglucose101 wrote:what are the "hardest" questions/section from each section (such questions as the dinosaur game, but not limited to LGs, etc)?

In my opinion, the Ronald Dworkin passage (PT 35) is the most difficult thing to ever appear on the LSAT.

I have to agree that this was one of the tougher RC passages I encountered in my 55 PT's.hax123 wrote:In my opinion, the Ronald Dworkin passage (PT 35) is the most difficult thing to ever appear on the LSAT.

I know "hard" is subjective, that's why I thought we'd all just share some of the hardest questions here.

I don't think I ever did the fractals RC, but I would agree that talk-story was also a total bitch.Knockglock wrote:Fractals, talk-story were both harder imo.Bildungsroman wrote:Four words: riddled basins of attraction.

Re: hardest questions of all time
In terms of LG, I would definitely have to say the Zephyr airlines one was pretty difficult. Of course I don't know how I did on the June test so perhaps the last game will rank up there as well. RC I thought that the basins of attraction while not the hardest ever was by far the most difficult to stay focused on. Code switching among Puerto Ricans was pretty bad too.

This thread always goes like this:
A: Oh, game #3 from test prep X has got to be the hardest ever.
B: Nah, that one was simple, I did it in six minutes. *feels smart*

The LG game that had cages with male/female snakes/lizards was brutal for me.

The hardest LR question, imho, is the formal logic one about Brown Dwarfs and Suns or something along those lines. Anyone know what I am talking about? To this day I do not know how to answer it.

the noguchi passage. that test broke the -9/-10 streak and turned it into a -14.

What? I must have missed something on the mulch/stone game, because I don't think they were similar game types.3|ink wrote:That was a harder version of the mulch/stones game.joeshmo39 wrote:The LG game that had cages with male/female snakes/lizards was brutal for me.

There are 2 Brown Dwarfs questions: PT20, S1, Q16 and PT32, S1, Q24a11 1n wrote:The hardest LR question, imho, is the formal logic one about Brown Dwarfs and Suns or something along those lines. Anyone know what I am talking about? To this day I do not know how to answer it.
Both are pretty convoluted and have a lot of filler. IMHO, the one from PT20 is harder than the one from PT32. At least the one in PT32 is simply a fact set, so you can check each choice against the stimulus. PT20 actually makes you consider an argument.
PT32 is the one that discusses the Sun. I screencaptured a brief explanation of the credited response and put it here to avoid spoiling it for those who want to try it out first.

Ah yes, PT 32 it is. I remember staring at it blank faced when I first encountered it and looking it over repeatedly afterward without really understanding it.LSAT Blog wrote:There are 2 Brown Dwarfs questions: PT20, S1, Q16 and PT32, S1, Q24a11 1n wrote:The hardest LR question, imho, is the formal logic one about Brown Dwarfs and Suns or something along those lines. Re: hardest questions of all time
Perhaps I'm mistaken. I was going off of memory and that snakes game was one of the first I did when I started studying. I remember it had a limited number of cages and you had to fit the snakes and lizards in a certain order. You had like 5 snakes and 2 lizards if I recall, Male and Female among both.Knockglock wrote:What?
