LSAT's choice of recycled paper = crapola
Let me beat you to it:
"cool story bro"
"waaaah"
With that out of the way, I did my myriad practice tests on pristine white paper booklets published by the LSAC. Then I go to take my first LSAT for real real.
Turns out that mug is printed on recycled paper and my pencil marks are burrrrrly noticeable.
C'mon LSAC get of your high-horse. Saving trees is nice but let's be real. The Second Coming makes all this save the Earth stuff kind of a moot point. I need to be able to see my hash marks.

Anyone else find the juxtoposition of "high-horse" and "Second Coming" ironic?ThrobbinMonster wrote:Let me beat you to it:

If not, I'll laugh quietly to myself...

I agree with you, the recycled paper is a little different to write on and harder to erase....
Wasn't there some sort of "pencil" thread on here right before the test? Maybe the choice of pencil used was a poor one?

Does The Second Coming make all this LSAT stuff kind of a moot point?ThrobbinMonster wrote:Let me beat you to it:

This troll is completely terrible except for the use of "crapola" in the title.

....But yeah, the paper threw me for a loop, too. I just pushed harder.

At least you can see through the next page to prepare for what type of section it is.

I sliced through the super crap-o paper with my ticodongra pencil while diagramming one of the games. It was a little distracting.

+1. I was prepping for RC even as I was filling out the info part.Desert Fox wrote:At least you can see through the next page to prepare for what type of section it is.
But yea its harder to see your marks on the crappy paper, but its not really a difference maker.

And as for that STUPID PENCIL THREAD, I read it the night before the LSAT. Consensus was that the ticonderoga's were by FAR the best. So what do I do? Go out and buy a shit-ton of them. Come test day, I had to change pencils 6 times because they all became dull, and I'm afraid my score is ruined because when I went to erase the erasers all were AWFUL and left marks. Just kill me TLS.

Although I had a tough time determining whether the next section was RC or just a batch of particularly long LR questions. (Turns out it was the latter.)

On one question in RC, 2 answer choices were slotchy and missing words. I was already running behind in time so I didn't tell the proctor for fear of wasting MORE time. Sweet job L-SACK.
