I hope Cancer Ward (Solzheinitsyn) is on your list. Absolutely brilliant allegory.jjlaw wrote:I'm going to hide in Russian novels until scores come out, check my e-mail on June 25th, then go back into hiding.

Re: Anyone miss Prepping for the LSAT?
well since I was wondering if I could stomach it I sat and did a section of games....it really fulfilled that "empty" feeling I had inside. I realize I would rather face the boredom for a few more weeks. So many other things I can do with my life. If anyone truly misses it just go and find a nice RC passage or something really exciting, I am guessing (D) you might not actually miss it....

Today I was really bored, sitting in my room with nothing to do, and found myself staring kind of wistfully at the pile of preptests on the floor

For the record, I had to read spark-notes after every chapter of The Brothers K to understand what was going on..berkeleykel06 wrote:Doing the same. Re: Anyone miss Prepping for the LSAT?
I think reading these forums and posting here is a good first step towards a life not obsessed with the LSAT.
It provides an outlet for that restless craving to study more for the test even though its over. I also can see that it is normal to have trouble adjusting to a post LSAT life. Its very calming coming here.
The fact that I have progressed from reading to posting though might mean the condition isn’t improving…

Nothing made me as happy as scoring my PT's. Sometimes I was a bad boy and scored them during my post section 3 breaks... I couldn't wait 1 hour, how am I supposed to wait 3 weeks?!!Cilent21 wrote:I miss it so much. What I loved was scoring my PTs. I took my LSAT last December, on the 5th. Wound up waiting till the 28th for the score. Twas a rough waiting. After the first like 10 daysish, I think it gets easier lol

Waiting is the worst, because everything's completely out of your control, and you can't do anything about it.jdstl wrote:What I miss is having an outlet for LSAT related anxiety. When prepping for the test, I would work through a few old logic games or peruse the LG Bible whenever I was getting nervous. Now, all I can do is wait.
I would definitely say that I am more anxious and worried now than I was before the LSAT.
Most certainly... I mean, at least while studying I knew I was in control. These weeks are killing me.

Re: Anyone miss Prepping for the LSAT?
The past 6 weeks or so of my life has been really frakkin' busy:
Moved houses
Got personal trainer
Worked three jobs (only one of which is of the Mc-variety)
Registered for LSAT
Studied for LSAT
Took the LSAT
I have spent all week coming down (my boss actually told me to take Friday off so I could remember what being lazy is like... also so she could have the office to herself to listen to the Mexico match...)
I think I can just about muster the energy to read TLS forums and Sookie Stackhouse novels.
