For June 2010 test takers who have taken the test previously
I've taken the real thing before.
What did you all think?
I this one was easier than the 1st time I took it, but harder than the 2nd time I took it.
Regardless, I'm not cancelling and hopefully this is it.
Do you have a score in your head and say "if I get this, no matter what, I'll be content." Or "if I get this, I might consider retaking." Or "if I get this or lower, it's time to get ready for Oct?"
I really noticed how the room that you're testing in/desk you're using DO make a difference. People will argue this, but comfort/stress being thrown at you from other testers, do impact people.
I think considering the fact that I felt more relaxed/better focused/better hydriated and fed than on previous test(s), that this might all be signs that I vastly improved.
Just thought I'd make this thread for others to share.

I've only taken one, this past monday, but I couldn't have been happier with my room. Proctors were perfect with timing, the tables were huge and noone was was within 5 feet of me. The chairs were comfortable as hell and I have to say all the test takers were quite respectful. I don't think I heard a cough and I was the only one who sneezed. It was during the writing though so I don't feel bad. I genuinely feel bad for those in poor conditions, because I think it makes a big difference. My test center was better than my bedroom and I think its going to help me hit my target and be done.TOMaHULK wrote:I've taken the real thing before.

This was the second time I took the test. I felt much more prepared this time. However, I was just as anxious as before. I'm afraid that is what cost me the last game. I'm also afraid it cost me quite a few points on LR and RC. Here's hoping for upper 160s.

I'd definetely say you're a lucky guy. I know there's the old cliche' that you only hear horror stories because people that had good testing centers, don't bother to talk about it, etc. But in reality, all centers I've taken my test in had at least some issues that were more than minor.FuManChusco wrote:I've only taken one, this past monday, but I couldn't have been happier with my room. LOL-I'm 6'4", imagine sitting in a flip desk whose desk top doesn't go down all the way, but rather it rests on your tighs the whole time because you're so tall. What does this do? Makes your knees fold together the entire time and you then have sweety ass'd calfs and knees the whole test. Thanks god for the break or I would have had a fit.
Also, anyone take any caffeine supplement or other type product to help get them focused?

I took the Sep 09' before which I thought was Hella easier than this one. I think I would have score 4/5 points higher if it had been that one, then what I probably scored Monday.

Is that test a PT yet, or is it still in the time hold period?3|ink wrote:Agreed. That test had easy games, easy LR and easy RC. If it's out, what PT is it?

It's out. It's just the Sep 09 test, you can buy it for $8 at the LSAC website.
